After 42 years the Festival Director of the Fylde Folk Festival has called it a day, the next chapter of the festival will be The New Fylde Folk And Roots Festival.

The festival will still have a great selection of traditional folk music plus a wider range of roots music. Music from the wider world, folk music from different backgrounds.

In addition the festival  aims to make the event more family friendly, with lots of activities to keep them amused.
