This year’s LIVE in Barnsley FREE Music Festival, is taking place on Saturday 18 June 2016.

The festival is spread over a number of venues in a fairly compact area of Barnsley town centre and now draws over 4,000 music lovers each summer to the town. The festival was the brainchild of Dave Pearsall and Steve Clifford over a late night pint in a local music venue back in December 2012.

The aim of the festival is to showcase the diverse musical talents the town and the surrounding northern region has to offer.

There will be a central merchandising area where bands can sell their CD’s, t-shirts etc. OR they can sell their merchandise in the venue where they are playing. ALL the money from these sales will belong to the band selling the merchandise. LIB makes no charge and takes no cut of sales. 100% all band sales goes to the bands.
