Purbeck Folk Festival returns in August to Purbeck Valley Farm in Dorset. The festival was started in 2009 and has grown into one of the country’s favourite folk weekends.

The festival covers the broader definition of folk music and you can hear music from all around the world; some deep and meaningful, some get up and jump around. There's something for everyone's musical taste.

Purbeck Valley Folk Festival is set on a unique and compact farm ‘arena’ with professional stages in barns. It’s a little farm yard so it doesn’t take you ages to walk from one stage to the other, and it’s always easy to find your friends.

And, they’re in the Purbecks so camping is in an idyllic landscape with beautiful views. Parts of the campsite look right across to Corfe Castle.
