The world music focussed Rhythmtree festival is held on the Isle of Wight in July. This small world music festival specialises in performances from UK/EU based artists playing african traditional music, afro-beat, bhangra, taiko, latin, reggae, folk, blues, klezmer, world fusion, cajun and more. 

There is also lots of off-stage entertainment for all the family including a children's area, circus skills, craft displays, samba bands and African dance workshops. There are market stalls, locally produced food stands and alternative therapy areas. 

The Rhythmtree has a great reputation for bringing together an extraordinarily diverse rich mix of high quality music. Along with well established artists their aim is to showcase much that is new on the world music scene. They are situated on beautiful tree surrounded farmland close to the famous West Wight Heritage Coast and a short drive from the main ferry ports.
