Formerly known as the Jedi Music Festival, 2011 will see the first official Southport Rocks take its place on the Great British festival circuit.

This year they have introduced camping and ‘Glamping’ on both Friday and Saturday night so pack your wellies and your shades and prepare for a weekend at one of England’s classic seaside resorts. Showcasing the best of the UK’s new music it will also be featuring some firm festival favourites as well as classic cover bands to provide the soundtrack for your weekend. This year will see the dance tent bigger and better than ever before with sets from some of the UK’s top DJ’s spanning genres from house to techno, dub step to drum and bass and everything in between.

Artists booked to appear include The Lancashire Hotpots, The Futureheads, Kid British, and The Blue Meanies.
